Any resemblance this map could have to other group maps is pure coincidental. I didn't mean for it to look like another group's map and i sure as hell didn't see that map before.

Map of #Mutant-Refuge

For group use only

#Mutant-Refuge is a refuge and safe-haven for Mutants on the run. It's first location is located in a secluded green part of Australia near a lake/body of water surrounded by a forest.(This is a made up place so don't go searching it on google earth) It's location is unknown mostly but can be easily found if you're a mutant for some reason. It was built, financed and brought to life by Dr Parker, a whitecoat who was tired of seeing kid after kid get messed with DNA wise.

The Refuge caters to all kinds of mutants, from the birdkids to the aquatic mutants. The camp is home to all sorts of mutants, from all walks of life.

There's a kitchen where the home ec students can try out cooking and where the daily food gets prepared by staff. The mess hall is where dances can be held if the tables and chairs are taken away, this is also where you can sit down and eat your hot meal. Just outside the mess hall are more chairs and tables for those of you who might not like being indoors. The mess hall/kitchen building is the first real building made of bricks in the entire refuge, it is structurally the strongest building, having been there before the Refuge was even an idea.

On the north side of the camp there's accomodation for the Teachers and staff members. They still fall under the Tent they've signed up for but they stay on their own.

In the middle of the camp we have the fire pit gathering area where campfires burn whenever the campers want to experience the whole camp experience. Here some of the meetings get held as well as campfire sing-a-longs and storytelling.

There's a parking area where helicopters can land as well as the occasional birdkid who can't land in tight spots between trees and buildings. The fountain greets anyone who walks down the main pathway of the camp.

On the East side of this fountain is the administrative building, as well as the reception and campers' common area. Here campers can lounge around on the couches, read a book, watch TV, play video games and greet any new arrivals to the camp.

Behind this building is Alex Parker, the principal's, cabin, next to his cabin is the Passer tent(which is more like cabins made up of wood and tent material). Boys and girls get separated into two rooms, each kid getting a bunk bed a chest/closet and sharing the top of the chest as a bedside table. Outside each tent is a small walkway to the bathrooms which is also separated, each having a few showers, toilets and sinks.

Each tent and it's accompanying buildings is colored according to each tent's main color. Each counselor having their own little cabin near their tent.

The Piscis Tent is located near the lake/body of water for easy escape/access for the aquatic mutants in case of emergency.

The infirmary is located next to Carson's cabin in case of a medical emergency of any kind, her tent is also located here on the west side of the camp.

The classes are located on the west side of the fountain, here most of the classes will be held, behind the classes is the field which is an open piece of land leveled and made to the standards of a typical playing field.

On the south side of the camp is the entrance with an unmarked, unpaved and only accessible by 4X4 road. The nearest town being around 100 miles away. This road is used by Dr Parker on his visits as well as by a supply truck which brings supplies to the camp every week.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, this map is also subject to change.

So could one just walk up to Reception and go "Hey I wanna join the camp," and then whoever works there would be like "Okay, just let me ask you some questions," Then one form later and you're part of the camp? In universe, I mean. I know to apply to the group you have to fill out the bio and send it and blah blah blah. :) I'm trying to get this straight for my application. Awesome map, by the way!

Hmm, not really sure how to explain it, but pretty much yeah, if you're a mutant and you found the place yes.

The bathrooms are like a huge room with toilets(in stals) on one side and then stall like showers and taps on the other side. I don't know locker rooms really, we don't have them in SA. Also they do have like a place they can put stuff away, each bunk bed has a chest next to the bed(between the beds) and a closet type thing at the end, the students can decide which one they want and whether they share both. I hope that helps.
