- She can mimic and recreate any sound she's heard before, so her ears are sensitive to sound(they added the Kelpie for this), and her vocalcords are highly developed.
- She can store Energy and keep it on the side for when she needs it the most.  Meaning she can eat a lot now and not use those calories and store them in her body for added energy/stamina when flying/running, or when food is scarce.
- agility, she can move about like no one's business and turn and get out of the way fast too, she can make a turn on a dime and avoid people like that.  It also helps with jumping over rocks in a stream.  Very useful.

- Very weak power wise, so won't engage in any hand to hand or physical fight.
- Sensitive ears, so any loud or highpitched noise will throw her off or hurt her head extremely bad.
- Pain/sensitive/weak wings.  She had her wings grafted on later in life so they aren't that solidly part of her anatomy, this gives her a lot of pain, it also makes her wings much weaker and sensitive.  She takes pain medication quite a lot to try and counter this.

Melody is a little actress through and through.  She acts sweet and tries to befriend people for her own gain and will turn on those 'close' to her without a second thought.  She's selfish and won't think twice about doing fellow mutants in.  She loves learning and is very cunning, she has a very good memory but of course uses it all for evil and not school work.  She's also very playful and prides herself as a very good games master and would often play games with those she's taking in to Itex.  NOT TRUSTWORTHY.

Melody grew up in Perth Australia where her father sort of ran the local 'school' and lead most of the experiments on the kids there, though growing up Melody never really knew this about her father.
Melody was a regular girl up until she turned 13, her father finally told her what line of work he was in, and took her to the lab he was working in, she had shown interest in biology and bugged her father incessantly about his job before, only knowing he was some sort of scientist working with animals. When he finally took her to his job, she rather enjoyed it, and showed no will or need to help the kids that were locked in the cages around her, instead she showed an interest in what they could do. Shortly after, her mother died of some illness and Melody was left with her father, her only problem with becoming as powerful as those kids finally out of the way, since her mother wanted her daughter to have nothing todo with her father's line of work.
She begged and asked her father to make her like the kids in the cages, that she'd help him in his work and work for them rather than try to escape all the time. Her father agreed and they started operations, working on her a bit less painfully than what the other kids had to go through, they treated her more like a patient than an experiment.
They grafted wings onto her back and through countless procedures they added the DNA to hers, it was painful having it done so late in life, but for some reason Melody grew accustomed to the pain, and actually liked it. Her personality didn't change much, but she got strange, making everything into games(coping mechanism), she would kill mutants who were set for termination without a whim and she would prance around like the place belonged to her.
She enjoyed every second of it.
She’s still learning to use her wings, so she doesn’t fly too greatly, though she’s a fast learner. She’s also almost constantly in back pain due to the wings there, and some chest pain because they had to surgically add air sacks and all those birdy features she’ll need. Though they’re not that good, she can’t fly too high, and she’s out of breath after being too active for too long.

- She's a bit mad, or crazy.
- She carries some syringes and sedatives around with her in her bag with which she likes to capture stray mutants with, all just to catch favour back at the lab.
- She's really good with acting, having been doing it ever since she entered school.
- She's a drama queen, making everything far worse than it needs to be.
- Everything's a game to her.
- She's rather intelligent, her favorite subjects in school were Biology and Sciences.
- She remembers almost every sound she's heard in her life, from voices to phones and so on.
- Her eyes were a brown before the Macaw genes were added, they messed a bit with her eyes and the pigment sort of just disappeared, leaving them a strange grey, the pupils are also usually really small, she can't explain that, this causes some vision problems for her
- She'll try to befriend you if you're her target, get you alone and then try to kill you after a not so friendly game of something.
- She likes dropping cues, like if she's after info about Phantom, she'll keep making snake jokes.
- She carries a knife or blade in one of her boots, she’s not that skilled with it, but she should try to stab you if you figure out her game.
- She hates loosing.
- She's Australian so she has that little accent going for her.
