Background:
Phantom was sold to the school shortly after his birth and he's been experimented on pretty early on. At first they had to keep him in an incubator thing to keep him warm because he couldn't produce enough body heat to keep him alive and he was a bit frail as a baby. They had put him into the part of the hybrid program to develop the perfect human weapon(like the Erasers, but a new kind to replace them), fusing him with Black mamba DNA, wanting the baby to be as fast, deadly and dangerous as the snake when it grew up, he was one of the luckier ones who survived, probably the only one at the time.

Almost two years after his arrival at the school(a school somewhere hidden near Seattle) his parents showed up again, but not to take him back, but rather to sell his new born sister as well.

His parents were paid but as they left to go spend the money on whatever it was bad parents spent their money on, they were killed in a carcrash, planned and executed by the school to get rid of lose ends.

Phantom's sister was put into the lab where they made the birdkids and Phantom was kept away from her until he reached age 4 and they started to allow the two to stay together, all for the sake of a bond growing between the siblings to later use. He grew to protect his sister and would see her as much as was allowed. All the while not really aware that he was being bred and trained to become a weapon to be later sold, his sister only there to give him a reason to 'exist' for the time.

When Phantom turned 8 it was time to send him out to another lab but he refused to leave his sister behind, he fought them and even landed a few of the whitecoats in the hospital after biting them. But then a whitecoat threatened his sister and they noticed how he won't risk her life. They used this and when he still refused, they killed her, his spirit was broken and they kept the boy for a few more days before sending him off to Australia where he joined Wildfire's base.

He was useless as a fighter though and he was instead used as a cleaner, bringing injured Erasers back to the lab using his teleporting abilities. He grew used to this life and soon started to enjoy it. He was promoted to kidnapping escaped mutants and this he did pretty well until the day he was captured by the 'good guys'.

They forced information out of him and he couldn't return to Wildfire's base and so became one of the runaways, but not long after he was recaptured by Wildfire and tortured and finally brainwashed, he attacked those he grew close to but after a stab from his girlfriend he snapped out of it long enough for them to capture him and return him to normal, though he had already killed two of the good guys.

He decided to stay with the good guys and helped them in his own way, though he was never really one of them. When the camp moved he finally joined as a camper and he had a home.

That's a really short version of his story of how he became who he is so far...

During the spring event at the refuge he was captured by Wildfire and tortured to near death, a whitecoat took him into the lab and patched him up again but also placed a micro chip into his head which gave him a voice, much like Maximum Ride's, this chip also manipulated his actions and decisions, feeding him false information to sway him into thinking what the whitecoats were doing was right.

He continued to act the same but he was slowly becoming more and more a puppet of the whitecoats who they later used to capture his friends and lead a group of mutants to bring the camp to it's knees and capture the free mutants.

After the event and the kids who had been captured escaped, he was unaccounted for, he hadn't escaped with them but rather stayed with the school becoming their pawn again, what he was originally created to be.

Special abilities:
- Teleport- he can only teleport himself and up to 3 people with him safely, though he has to be in contact with them and he has to know where to teleport to, he also has to concentrate a great deal or else he'd just teleport a few feet and probably hurt himself, each time he teleports it eats his energy, so he has to eat a lot to build it back up, he can't teleport solid objects that's 'earthed' so trees, buildings and cages bolted to the ground is impossible to teleport for him, and if you cuff him to something like that, he won't be able to teleport away
- Heightened senses - He can close his eyes and still be able to know if there's someone within 16 feet of him, it's much like the snake's natural ability to sense the electrical fields of living creatures. Phantom can sense anything within a 16 feet radius of him but he can't sense anything right above his head. It's his only blind spot.
- He can hide his own presence/Natural Snake adaptations - this meaning he can hide behind a tree and silently make his way closer to you without you hearing him or smelling him, it's just stealth, like think a snake, you don't notice him until you're almost on top of him and you hear him hissing. He's also got venom, it's nothing special, it's just your run of the mill black mamba venom, it kills you within 45 minutes, if you don't get antivenin within the time there's a 100% mortality rate.

Weakness:
- He's cold blooded so he might die if exposed to the cold for too long
- he hates water since it's cold(meaning he doesn't like showers)
- He doesn't understand emotions or how to deal with them, so he comes across as insensitive and bullish sometimes.
- His right shoulder and left knee i think isn't the best(injuries). His girlfriend stabbed his shoulder when he was evil and it healed but it was never the same as you would imagine, also during a fight with Chess(i think) he got his knee injured and then later again i think during a fight with Breccan.
- Don't touch his tail, or bite it, he doesn't like that.
- He's not the smartest when it comes to words so you can probably piss him off enough by just talking to him, and then you can probably make him feel like shit if you know too much about him.
- He's pretty secretive and hates it when people know too much about him.

Personality:
Phantom's a bit of a creeper, he has no respect for others and if he wants something or wants to say something, he'd do it. He comes across as bullish but it's only because he lacks the skills to deal with emotions, be it his own or the emotions of others, but he's working on it. He's loyal to an extent but self preservation is pretty high up on his list, not that he always listens to the little voice in his head telling him something's a bad idea. He's stubborn and stupidly so.

He's rude, insensitive and a bully, but he's also probably one of the best people to have on your side during a fight, he cares about his friends, even when he doesn't show it, and he gets easily embarrassed when one of his weaknesses gets exposed.

He gets mad easily, just like the snake he shares his dna from.

When he's hurting inside for whatever reason he chooses to deal with it himself, he doesn't trust that easily because he thinks the world is out to get him.

Deep down he just wants acceptance, to be useful and to be appreciated, he doesn't know that really but it's subconscious.

Phantom also has a bit of a dark side, he enjoys the mecarb, like skulls and death and serial killers, it's just kind of a hobby. He likes to laugh at other's misfortunes and he smirks a lot, enjoying bugging others.

Interesting facts:
- He's got a few secrets.
- Faux is his bro even though he'd never admit to it, Faux and Banshee became his family and he'd do anything to protect them.
- He'd secretly do anything for Tabby, Banshee, Faux and Chess seeing as they're sort of his only friends.
- He'd crack under Wildfire, he'd put up a strong fight but he'd eventually crack and work for Wildfire again if it came to that, but he'd fight before that, he doesn't want to give up his life right now.
- He respects Hokeo enough not to try and piss him off, he's to the point where he sort of fears him. But after their training together, he's become attached to the Teacher and sees him like a hero, maybe even a father figure.
- He's not too fond of change, so don't expect him to enjoy taking a bath or change his clothes or his ways.
- He's quite sensitive over his past, he'll get super pissed if you bring it up.

He always has that little rag wrapped around his leg because it reminds him of his sister, it belonged to her before she died.
