My deviantART story

Joining in on the birthday thing, since i was sort of out of town the day i saw all these things going up.

I'm working on my messages i promise!  They piled up while i was home.  >.<

My story started almost 4 years ago, I created an account called charmedwolfgirl, this was my first and 'only' account since starting, which i'm quite proud of. In the beginning i was called charmedwolfgirl, because i couldn't think of a better name back then.  But the Charmed part seemed to stick when i could change my name.  I joined dA on the 20th of August, more than halfway into my first year at the University.  I only joined dA after seeing an amazing artist's fanart and then followed it to this wonderful site after a while.  I created my account and sort of forgot it for around a year or so before i finally started using it again.

This was one of my first uploads onto the site, a simple picture i took with my camera phone.  Ahaha it wasn't really 'art' but i was proud of it, and wanted to test this uploading thing.

Around the time i started uploading art, i became friends with some awesome people on Facebook through a fangroup for this wonderful beast right here, Fang from the Maximum Ride books.  We sort of started our own flock and i used my dA account to upload pictures here and there of them, most of which got stolen before i could post them up, and a lot of the gaia things i made i deleted because oh wow i didn't draw those.  Anyway i thought i was the shit at arting, i mean look at those lovely wings!  Ahaha, then i discovered there were actual artists on this site and i started working harder and tried my best at getting better.  

I heard of this thing called rping sometime into my time here on dA and decided to join a group, so again i followed this awesome artist i sort of followed onto the site (Might as well mention them, they're go take a look at their awesome art)and i joined a group they were in at the time, but i never rp'ed since my internet was horrible at the time, so i just worked on doing art for the group.

After getting more into the deviantart fanbase for Maximum Ride and being
able to rp, i discovered a then awesome group and joined, there i met some of the most awesome people i've ever known on this site, and some of the worst.  But i had mostly good times.  I started making characters for the group and branched out from just my facebook flock and soon i had a bunch of characters under my pen, art skillz not so much.  I also looked into other groups and fandoms.




A few friends and i then set out to start our own group called AtrumAcademy(which is still going strong till this day) and due to some dArama i left the group i had enjoyed so much and met so many people in.  It was a sad time and lost lots of friends, things were never the same after that, but since then we've had our own and better group called Mutant-Refuge, and we've worked hard on that.  Since then i've met lots of new friends and discovered what had really happened and those i could trust.  Lots of changes also happened in my offline world at the time.

Anyway, i never stopped drawing throughout everything and joined more groups than i would advise to any sane person.  I've had a fun ride and i'm looking forward to the future.

My story's still writing itself though, and i'm working on it as i go, but i believe those were the major things basically.  I've been through my share of groups, dArama, fights, ups and downs and i'd like to believe i've improved somewhat during the years.  At the very least i've gotten a tablet during all this time and met some friends.  <3<< to show i've at least learned to draw wings sort of.  Still learning.
